Park, Youna
Based in psychology, I have experience in education-related roles over than five years.
During my teaching career, I have continued to develop a strong leadership to guide my students
and learners, and a responsibility to take a good care of them. I am a thoughtful teacher - adept
in management, empathy and tolerance. On the basis of my various experiences, I will meet my
student at their eve level, keep in step with them, and delightfully lead the course.
As to my research, I have been inspired to study how humans appreciate art and how it
affects our cognitive processes. Having a great desire to apply the theories I have learned in this
way to a practical cultural/artistic environment. Alongside my academic aspirations, I have
actively engaged in the artistic industry, including theatre production, art exhibition,
presentation, and curation. This involvement stems from my strong desire to apply theoretical
knowledge to practical cultural and artistic settings, while maintaining close contact with the
real-world field. One fun fact: the earliest career I seriously envisioned for myself was that of a
fine artist.
